Job summary

4 Horn Trench & Shoring is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with customers in the field and at work locations. You will coordinate rental equipment, deliver quotes, and provide technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

The role emphasizes daily customer contact, growth in product knowledge, and meeting revenue targets. A Bachelor’s degree and clean driving record are required, with travel locally and regionally expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rental equipment inventory, deliveries, and pickups with Sales Coordinators and Branch Mgmt.
• Act as liaison between customers and branch departments to ensure expectations are met.
• Represent the company in the field by delivering quotes and supplying technical assistance.
• Promote new business through daily customer contact and follow-up.
• Maintain a current customer database and provide product support to existing customers.
• Participate in weekly and quarterly sales meetings, sharing competitive information and trends.
• Ensure revenue, profit margin, and customer objectives are met monthly, quarterly, and annually.
