Job summary

4 Horn Trench & Shoring is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with customers in the field and at work locations. This role coordinates rental equipment inventory, deliveries, and pickups with Sales Coordinators and Branch Management to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent sales experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to travel locally and regionally.
• Must have solid organizational and time management skills.
• Must have excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish goals.
• Must have solid computer skills (RentalMan experience is a plus).
• Preferably have knowledge of company industry, products, and markets.
• Preferably have 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers in the field and at work locations.
• Coordinate rental equipment inventory, deliveries, and pickups with Sales Coordinators and Branch Management.
• Act as liaison between customers and other branches to meet expectations and ensure goodwill.
• Deliver quotes and provide technical assistance to maintain image as a quality supplier.
• Promote new business through daily customer contact and feedback collection.
• Provide product support and maintain a current customer database.
• Ensure company standards, safety, sales processing, and confidentiality.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Grow knowledge of products, inventory, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
• Prepare all required paperwork and reports accurately and timely.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and profit targets.
