Job summary

OS General Construction Inc. is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales / Business Development Representative to drive commercial and industrial growth across Southern California. You will hunt new accounts, build strategic relationships, and convert cold prospects into qualified construction projects.

In this field-based role, you’ll visit sites, identify capital needs, coordinate with internal teams, and shape territory strategy while earning uncapped commissions and a base salary of 70k–100k.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years outside B2B sales or business development.
• Direct experience in commercial/industrial construction or related sectors.
• Proven cold calling and field prospecting experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; proficient with CRM and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and build a pipeline of commercial/industrial opportunities.
• Develop strategic relationships with facility managers, plant managers, property managers, engineers, developers, and general contractors.
• Conduct field visits and site walks to identify project opportunities.
• Cross-functional coordination with estimating and project management teams for proposals.
• Manage pipeline and sales strategy with CRM and disciplined follow-up.
