Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a field-based sales professional to lead the commercial sales process for molecular spectroscopy instruments in a multi-state Western US territory, supporting the US and Canada.

You will coordinate face-to-face technical interactions, deliver product demonstrations, and work with product management to address market demand. This role requires travel 50–75% and residency in the western region.

Qualifications

• Proficient analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer demand.
• Comfortable leading discussions and giving presentations in-person or remotely.
• Experience in technical sales or hands-on with scientific instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% within the sales region.
• Resides within primary sales territory states (TX, CO, CA).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate face-to-face technical interactions with customers.
• Lead product demonstrations and deliver detailed presentations.
• Provide input in technical consultation to meet customer needs.
• Meet or exceed sales goals with bookings commitments.
• Build and implement growth-driven strategies and plans.
• Identify and respond to customer requirements in line with division capabilities.
• Collaborate using CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
