Job summary

Sales Xceleration Recruiting seeks a Sales Engineer to own and grow customer relationships within a defined Chicago territory, driving aftermarket services and technical solutions.

You will collaborate with world-class engineers and service professionals, travel 40-70% to customer sites, and translate complex technical requirements into compelling business value for industrial clients.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow customer relationships across your territory.
• Identify and close opportunities for repairs, upgrades, parts, and field services.
• Serve as the primary commercial and technical resource for customers.
• Conduct site visits to assess equipment and operational needs.
• Forecast opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline in CRM.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Proposal Management, and Field Service teams.
