Job summary

Flow Control Group in the United States is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to manage a Northern Illinois territory and grow new business. This field-based role focuses on identifying products and solutions to meet customer needs while delivering technical demos.

You will drive new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and collaborate with teams to close deals, with unlimited commission potential and travel as needed from the Elgin, IL area.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a plus.
• Sales and strong communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing role, strategizing and determining solutions to win orders.
• Present solutions to key decision makers and conduct technical demos.
• Develop business via prospecting, scheduling appointments, and lead management.
• Maintain customer relationships and loyalty through excellent service.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to implement winning strategies.
• Occasional travel for vendor training and field support.
