Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist Sales and Application Engineer to drive metal-cutting tool sales growth across Virginia. The role blends machining experience with sales skills, managing relationships with direct and indirect customers and expanding our territory footprint.

The position is field-based with a company vehicle, base salary plus performance bonus, and benefits starting day 1. Expect substantial travel within the state and collaboration with internal teams to meet customer

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
1-2 years of technical sales and/or application experience preferred.
Proficient in product knowledge and troubleshooting; tailor solutions to customer needs.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed revenue targets in the Virginia territory.
Provide technical sales direction and product demonstrations to customers.
Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive new product sales.
Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to support customers.
Represent Kennametal at tradeshows, conferences and other events within territory.
