Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Tooling Sales and Application Engineer to drive metal cutting tool sales growth. The role combines technical CNC machining knowledge with sales to manage customer relationships, provide technical direction, and increase productivity for customers.

The position is based from a home office within the territory, with 80%+ time in the field at customer locations. Company vehicle provided; compensation includes base salary plus bonus and benefits starting day one.

Competenze

• Technical degree or degree in Business, Manufacturing and/or Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of related CNC machining industry experience.
• 1–2 years of technical sales and/or application experience preferred.
• Proficient in product knowledge, including applications and troubleshooting.
• Solid grasp of industry dynamics; aligns product solutions with customer needs.
• Competent in a range of sales techniques; adapts to various customer types.
• Independent in executing strategic sales plans and meeting targets.
• Excellent communication; can explain complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Mansioni

• Meet or exceed revenue targets by effectively providing metal cutting solutions.
• Generate, qualify, and manage all sales leads, prospects, and new customer accounts.
• Proactively manage the complete sales process including prospecting, qualification, demos, pricing, and negotiations.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to deliver revenue goals with focus on new product sales.
• Provide timely answers to pre‑sales technical and commercial queries from customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer and project records in CRM to ensure a clean pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide value and positive end‑to‑end customer experience.
• Perform online and onsite demonstrations of metal cutting products tailored to customers' needs.
• Represent and promote Kennametal at tradeshows and events within the territory.
• Deliver cost savings through analysis of application needs and testing.
• Prepare and present progress, status, and forecasting reports.

Formazione
