Job summary

Kennametal is seeking a CNC Machinist Sales and Application Engineer to grow metal-cutting tool sales in a dynamic territory. You will blend hands-on machining knowledge with sales acumen, guiding customers from initial contact through deployment while coordinating with internal teams for technical support and training.

This role emphasizes field work, customer relationship-building, and delivering value through tailored tooling and application solutions, with a base salary plus incentive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
• Ability to tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue targets in the territory.
• Provide technical direction and support to customers.
• Conduct product demos and pre-sales workshops.
• Develop strategic territory plans to drive revenue.
• Maintain customer and project records in CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success.
• Represent Kennametal at events and tradeshows.
• Prepare progress, status, and forecasting reports.
