Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Sales Account Manager- Customer Development to manage assigned accounts and expand Ryder services including Full Service Lease, Maintenance, Lease Financing, Fleet Management, and Dedicated Contract Carriage.

You’ll build relationships with all buying influences, develop sales plans, and present Ryder capabilities. Domestic travel, car allowance, company phone, and strong monthly commissions are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of demonstrated consecutive sales and customer relationship management experience in prior sales responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel as required for training and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and consistent contact with customers to meet customer requirements.
• Develop sales penetration plan and segment account base by opportunity for growth.
• Present Ryder services and capabilities to customers.
• Develop relationships with all customer buying influences.
• Ensure contracted services are delivered and manage customer satisfaction perception.
• Conduct regularly scheduled customer reviews and monitor CSI results.
• Collaborate with Ryder teams to identify opportunities for applications of services.
• Provide training and mentoring to new sales employees.
