Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell pest management services to residential customers and be the face of our national brand in your local community. You will assess customer needs, present solutions, and collaborate with our Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to maximize opportunities.

You must be comfortable with physical work, travel up to 100% within your territory, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your current state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and assess entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to increase opportunities.
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve pest issues and propose enhancements to services.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations and ensure satisfactory completion.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance using the sales CRM.
