Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant to drive outside sales in customers’ homes and at industry events. You will travel extensively, assess customer needs, prepare tailored quotes, present warranties and financing, and guide installations.

You’ll also expand the customer base by soliciting new leads, maintaining store relationships, and educating associates on HDIS offerings. A customer‑focused, results‑driven communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Preferred: in-home or virtual sales experience, home improvement industry experience, lead generation.
• Computer and application skills; use of varied technology.
• Bilingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales calls and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Develop and negotiate price quotes and present warranty/financing options.
• Complete sales contracts and paperwork and take measurements to ensure installation specs.
• Educate store associates on HDIS offerings and generate new referrals.
