Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant to drive outside sales visits to customers' homes and trade shows, presenting tailored product recommendations and financing options. Travel and field work are core aspects of the role, with a focus on building a strong pipeline through new customer acquisition and store relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Prior in-home or virtual sales experience preferred.
• Prior home improvement industry experience preferred.
• Strong computer and application skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales visits and provide professional, compelling presentations.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes and present warranty/ financing options.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork; take measurements to ensure installation specifications.
• Solicit new customers inside assigned stores and at industry events; educate store associates on HDIS offerings.
• Attend sales and store team meetings to improve sales techniques and learn about HDIS product offerings.
