Job summary

TruTeam is hiring a Sales Consultant in Maine to drive growth in residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, pursue new business, and build trusted relationships while delivering knowledge on insulation and building products.

The role requires a motivated, aggressive seller with construction industry experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally. Flexible schedule and safety awareness are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate & follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
