Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive sales of insulation and building products to residential and light commercial customers. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, generating leads, and meeting monthly targets, with flexible scheduling to accommodate demand.

The position involves local travel (>50%), physical activity, and responsibilities from initial sale to project completion. A valid driver's license is required if operating a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
