Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for delivering the in-home experience through a designated team of Flooring Consultants. The role is primarily field-based, observing in-home sales interactions and modeling best-in-class selling techniques to drive customer satisfaction and market results.

The candidate will coach 8-12 ride-alongs weekly, own the end-to-end in-home sales process, and translate performance data into actionable development plans

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales leadership and coaching experience, preferably in a field-based environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Strong ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.

Responsibilities

• In-Field Coaching & Development: conduct ride-alongs, observe interactions and provide real-time coaching to improve customer experience.
• Sales Process Ownership & Expertise: be market expert on end-to-end in-home sales and brand experiences.
• Performance Coaching & Accountability: translate data into coaching priorities and track KPI improvements.
• Collaborative and Brand-conscious Decisional Authority: exercise decision authority during field activities.
• Team Development & Capacity Building: lead skill-building sessions and onboarding of new consultants.
