Fastenal is seeking a Full-time Supply Chain Associate in Harrison, OH to manage branch inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.

The role supports accounts receivable activities, may involve delivering with a company vehicle, and offers potential for scheduling flexibility after onboarding and training to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in business-related field or having customer service/industry experience.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate Fastenal's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions including purchase orders and backorders.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to support branch success.
