Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Development Manager in Schertz, TX. You will maintain regular contact with customers, develop a sales plan, and present Ryder services to increase revenue.

This role requires travel across the Texan territory and ongoing relationship-building with customers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and is proficient in Salesforce. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Transportation or related field is required.
• 5+ years of proven sales and customer relationship management experience in previous roles.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep regular contact with customers to meet needs and identify opportunities.
• Build a sales penetration plan and segment accounts by growth and risk.
• Present Ryder services and capabilities to customers.
• Grow revenue within existing accounts by closing new opportunities.
