Job summary

Woodland Building Supply in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a driven Outside Sales Account Manager to grow our premium lumber, building materials, and millwork portfolio. You will engage contractors, builders, and developers, visit active job sites, and translate opportunities into orders.

The role emphasizes field sales, relationship development, and timely quotations with support from our Inside Sales team. A strong track record, negotiation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales in building materials or related products.
• Proven track record of developing new business.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to travel in Philadelphia region.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new contractor, builder, remodeler, developer, and commercial accounts.
• Visit active construction jobsites.
• Build relationships with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and purchasing managers.
• Generate and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Prepare material takeoffs and quotations with support from Inside Sales team.
• Follow up on every quotation until a buying decision is made.
• Develop long-term customer relationships built on trust and service.
• Increase sales volume while maintaining profitable gross margins.
• Present new products and promotional opportunities.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and weekly activity reports.
