Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Safety Training Specialist to deliver on-site and customer-focused safety programs, training customer staff and internal evaluators, and coordinating instructor-led sessions.

The role requires strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA/NFPA), excellent communication, and the ability to travel about 70% to client sites. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of college and related work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators.
• Experience delivering train-the-trainer programs.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FAA, MSHA, EPA and related safety standards.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Trains customer's employees on required safety training programs on-site.
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for equipment operators.
• Coordinates instructor and operator training and ensures program delivery.
• Supports internal safety training evaluation and promotes network.
• Works with sales/marketing to propose customized training packages and pricing.
