Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current OSHA requirements.
• Certification as Safety Professional or EMT preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, review, updating, and communication of the SSSP to all stakeholders, including subcontractors.
• Collaborate with craft daily to encourage buy-in of safety programs and ownership.
• Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to policies and plans.
• Plan and prioritize with operations based on leading indicator trends and upcoming work.
• Assist with incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain project files in OSHA/MSHA compliance and manage accident/injury records.
