Job summary

QC Servion is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety programs across multiple construction sites in the Northern United States. You will report to the Safety Director and focus on compliance, site inspections, workforce education, incident investigations, and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes educating field teams about why safety rules matter, developing and auditing written programs such as LOTO, Fall Protection, and Confined Space, and travel up to 75% to site

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety and/or critical infrastructure construction safety.
• OSHA 30 certification (required).
• OSHA 510, EM 385, and NFPA 70E certifications — or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards and General Duty requirements.
• Experience with incident reporting, inspections, and investigations.
• Experience with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs/JSA s) and exposure assessments.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Safety audits and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to clearly communicate safety expectations in the field and build trust with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections across assigned project sites.
• Ensure job sites are compliant with OSHA 1910/1926 and company policies.
• Support incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review and audit field safety documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding-related safety training and ongoing workforce training compliance.
• Educate field teams on PPE usage and safety procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and audit written safety programs (e.g., LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space).
• Report site-level findings, trends, and recommendations to the Safety Director.
• Travel to project sites, up to 75%, including 1–3 day visits.
