Job summary

QC Servion seeks a Safety Manager to lead safety programs across multiple construction sites in the Northern United States. You will report to the Safety Director and focus on compliance, inspections, workforce education, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires flexibility to travel around the US up to 75% and to educate field teams on safety requirements and why they matter for safe, compliant job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety and/or critical infrastructure construction safety.
• OSHA 30 certification (required).
• OSHA 510, EM 385, and NFPA 70E certifications — or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards and General Duty requirements.
• Experience with incident reporting, inspections, investigations, JHAs/JSAs, and exposure assessments.
• Root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, safety audits and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to clearly communicate safety expectations in the field and build trust with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections across assigned project sites.
• Ensure job sites comply with OSHA, EM 385, NFPA 70E and safety policies.
• Support incident and accident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Review and audit field safety documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding safety training and ongoing workforce training compliance.
• Educate field teams on safety procedures, PPE usage and best practices.
• Develop, implement and audit written safety programs (LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space).
• Partner with Safety Director to report findings, trends and recommendations.
• Travel to project sites up to 75%, including short trips (1–3 days).
