Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and administer all safety policies and programs across projects, ensuring compliance with IES and site requirements as well as federal and state standards.

The role emphasizes safety training delivery, audits, incident investigations, and development of action plans to prevent incidents. EMT or higher credentials are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred.
• Five or more years' construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• Authorized OSHA OTI 500 Construction Outreach Trainer status.
• CHST certification or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support IES and site safety policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State standards.
• Deliver safety training and perform safety audits/inspections.
• Manage confined space entry activities and documentation.
• Lead root cause investigations on incidents and near misses.
• Coordinate OSHA inspections and safety reporting.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports.
