Job summary

IES Communications seeks an experienced safety professional to implement and oversee safety programs across regions. You will ensure compliance with IES and site policies and federal/state regulations while driving proactive safety initiatives and hazard analyses.

The role requires a CHST or BCSP equivalent, OSHA 510/500, OSHA 30, First Aid CPR, and 7+ years of construction safety experience with willingness to travel; OT and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have CHST and/or CSMC certifications and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
• OSHA 510/500 and OSHA 30 certifications, First Aid/CPR.
• Strong communication and customer relations abilities; willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer and monitor all safety policies and programs across locations and projects.
• Ensure compliance with IES/site safety policies and federal/state standards.
• Develop safety/health initiatives to prevent incidents and educate staff on hazard analysis.
