Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Safety Coordinator to enforce safety policies across projects, conduct training, audits and incident investigations. You will partner with operations to reduce hazards, deliver OSHA 10/30 and other required trainings, and maintain safety records in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in construction safety, OSHA knowledge, and EMT or higher credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in construction safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for Construction.
• EMT or higher credentials preferred.
• CHST Certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fully support all IES and Site/Customer safety policies and programs.
• Perform safety audits/inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Deliver safety training including OSHA 10/30 and new employee orientation.
• Prepare written safety reports and summaries of audits and investigations.
• Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
