Job summary

IES Communications in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a Safety Coordinator responsible for implementing and managing safety policies and training. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and developing initiatives to prevent occupational incidents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of five (3) years' experience in construction safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for Construction.
• Current status as an Authorized OSHA OTI 500 Construction Outreach Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Support all IES and Site/Customer safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Perform safety presentations and develop related training as required.
• Conduct and coordinate root cause investigations on recordable incidents.

Skills

Education

High School diploma or GED
