Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a technically proficient Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems across customer sites. You will handle mechanical, electrical, and automation components and play a key role in integrating autonomous welding cells into manufacturing processes.

The role requires hands-on repair skills, a willingness to travel extensively, and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Technical training or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English (and Spanish is a plus) is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
