Job summary

RobCo is seeking a Service & Support Engineer to establish and lead on-ground service operations in the United States. You will work hands-on across RobCo’s stack, including Robflow, Robvision, PLCs, electrics, and safety systems, while diagnosing complex hardware and software issues on robotic machinery.

You will read Python code, interface with multiple machine protocols, and coordinate with European teams to ensure seamless handoffs.

Qualifications

3+ years in field service, technical support, or solutions engineering in robotics or automation.
Strong fundamentals in Python and ability to read/write code.
Solid knowledge of electrics, safety standards, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Service & Support operations across the US as the on-ground technical expert.
Hands-on ramp-up to master RobCo stack: Robflow, Robvision, PLCs, electrics, safety systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software issues on robotic machinery.
Read, analyze, and debug Python code; interface with IO, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Profibus, IO-Link.
Prioritize and drive field escalations in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Document bugs/edge cases and hardware requirements for handoffs with European teams.
Build strong relationships with US customers and clearly explain technical issues.
Drive product and service improvements using field insights.
