Job summary

RobCo is seeking a Robotics Support Engineer in the US to serve as the foundational technical expert on the ground. You will drive, structure, and execute end-to-end support operations across the US while working in a hands-on Solutions Engineering capacity to ramp up on our proprietary stack.

You will troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on physical robotic systems, read Python code, and work with standard machine protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service engineering or solutions engineering within robotics or industrial automation.
• Solid programming basics with object-oriented concepts and Python exposure.
• Familiarity with machine communication protocols (IO, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Profibus, IO-Link).
• English skills strong; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Service & Support operations across the US as the foundational technical expert.
• Hands-on Solutions Engineering during ramp-up to master RobCo stack (Robflow, Robvision, PLCs, electrics, safety).
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on robotic machinery; analyze failure patterns.
• Read and debug Python code; interface with machine protocols.
• Prioritize and drive field escalations in a fast-paced scale-up; document issues for handoffs.
