Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's RTS Field Hardware Support Engineers seek a seasoned systems engineer to bridge on-site technicians with RTS engineering, launching new robotics systems and maintaining performance across a high-throughput fulfillment network.

You will travel up to 75% and develop preventive maintenance procedures, spare parts processes, and training, contributing to safety and reliability of Amazon Robotics technology.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and provisioning infrastructure.
• Experience in automation or monitoring frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for new product implementations and troubleshooting for advanced robotics systems.
• Partner with site-level reliability and controls teams to maximize system performance.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical and system issues across the RTS product suite.
• Design and implement electro-mechanical tools, fixtures, and diagnostic solutions.
• Develop proactive monitoring tools to measure safety, reliability and performance.
• Create escalation processes and standard operating procedures for the RTS suite.
• Lead training sessions and develop training content for on-site teams.
• Develop and implement spare parts management systems and processes.
• Produce performance reports and feedback to development and support teams.
• Up to 75% travel expected.
