Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Field Relief Manager to stand in for General Managers across centers in your area, ensuring consistent customer service, policy compliance, and smooth operation during absences.

You will receive hands-on coverage, participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University, and assist in hiring and onboarding new team members. A valid driver’s license and ability to work weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for General Managers on leave by enforcing policies, inventory practices, etc.
• Review implementation and assist at centers to stay apprised of all programs.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
• Hire and educate new team members.
