Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Field Relief Manager for Wilmington, NC to provide coverage for General Managers on leave, enforce policies, and supervise inventory practices across stores.

This role includes ongoing training through U-Haul University, hiring and educating new team members, and ensuring consistent customer service and store operations. Candidates should have 1-3 years of retail management, a valid driver's license, and be prepared to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
• P&L accountability in high-volume retail settings preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for General Managers on leave by enforcing policies, inventory practices, etc.
• Review implementation and assist at centers to stay apprised of all programs.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
• Hire and educate new team members.
