Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Field Relief Manager to cover General Managers on leave at U-Haul centers in your area. You will ensure policy compliance, inventory control and strong customer service during coverage periods.

You will also participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University, hire and train new team members, and support centers with program implementation while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss accountability.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for General Managers on leave by enforcing policies, inventory practices, etc.
• Review implementation and assist at centers to stay apprised of all programs.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
• Hire and educate new team members.
