Job summary

AFC Automotive Finance Corporation is seeking a Relationship Specialist to build strong relationships with current and prospective independent auto dealers in the Houston area. You will support financing (floorplanning), grow AFC revenue, and balance risk while traveling within your territory.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in customer-facing or sales roles, a valid driver’s license, and are comfortable with 50–75% travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer-facing, sales, or sales-support experience.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within your market.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in applying sales techniques and resolving dealer issues.

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking to assess business and risk situations with minimal oversight.
• Develop understanding of customer needs using CRM tools and work queues.
• Grow the portfolio through promotional efforts to existing and new accounts.
• Manage, service, and balance risk on customer accounts.
• Maintain and expand existing accounts while pursuing new growth opportunities.
