Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. in Grandview, MO is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

You will travel to service centers and events, build a strong pipeline through job boards, social media and referrals, and partner with the Recruiting Manager to meet staffing goals. Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to multitask effectively.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
