Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers in recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding quality candidates.

The role requires travel to multiple service centers, career fairs, and hiring events to build a robust candidate pipeline. You will work with the Recruiting Manager to align strategies, source candidates via social media and job boards, and conduct interviews for hourly roles and interns, assisting with onboarding and training at the service centers.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies.
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline via multiple methods.
• Review applications and interview candidates for hourly roles and interns.
• Coordinate onboarding and training at service centers.
• Maintain communications with service center leadership on staffing needs.
