Job summary

Getz Fire Equipment Company is seeking a Quality Support Specialist to lead Engineered Systems field technicians and installers. You will ensure safe, compliant work to NFPA standards and coach staff while coordinating daily assignments in the field with a company vehicle.

You will serve as the first contact for technician questions, help address customer issues, review reports, and assist in scheduling and training. This role is full-time, weekdays, with a vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Several years of field experience as Engineered Systems service technician.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 72, 12, 17, 2001 and local codes.
• NICET Level II and manufacturer factory certifications.
• CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred, not required.
• Computer skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening; ATF clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field quality control checks and ride-alongs; report results to the Division Manager.
• Serve as first point of contact for technician questions, job assignments, and scheduling.
• Resolve customer complaints at field level and assist technicians when service falls behind.
• Maintain cleanliness standards for vehicles, storage units, and branch offices; ensure tools and inventory are ready.
• Review technician reports for accuracy; back up hands-on training.
