Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect and test asphalt road construction projects across multiple job sites. You will perform field tests, collect samples, and help ensure density requirements are met while adhering to safety and QA/QC standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and relevant construction experience. Travel to plants and sites may be required, including nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in construction field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and field tests for asphalt road construction projects.
• Record test results and maintain density logs per QA/QC procedures.
• Operate profilograph, density gauge readings, and core sampling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and project quality specifications.
• Travel to Midsouth Jobsites and asphalt plants as needed.
