Job summary

APAC Atlantic, Inc. Asheville Division is seeking a focused Asphalt Quality Control Technician to sample asphalt, perform QC tests, and coordinate with plant personnel and inspectors. You will help ensure product quality and safety across projects in Western North Carolina.

Responsibilities include recording test results, maintaining the database, and staying current with required DOT certifications. You will work in a team, follow safety policies, and support customers with quality-related

Qualifications

• Must interpret instructions in English and test asphalt per specs.

Responsibilities

• Sample asphalt to ensure it meets specifications.
• Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel and inspectors.
• Perform Asphalt Quality Control tests in lab or roadway and record results.
• Maintain a safe work environment per policies and OSHA/MSHA rules.
• Obtain required certifications in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with quality-related matters.
