Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to provide inspection, testing, and documentation for plant facilities. Build relationships with customers, facility managers, and state/local agencies while evaluating volumetric data to adjust mix production for compliance on various projects.

The role requires DOT testing certification, high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to travel. Must pass pre-employment screenings and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required to test asphalt as required by state regulations.
• Less than one year of experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample and test aggregates, asphalt or other materials for quality control.
• Sample and test mixtures to stay in contract specification tolerances.
• Monitor and test process functions to meet agency or customer requirements.
• Prepare and record test results; maintain results database.
• Obtain required certifications in a timely manner.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and calibration paperwork.
