Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking an experienced Field Adjuster to investigate and settle complex homeowner claims. You will determine coverage, calculate damages, and negotiate settlements within your authority, while mentoring peers in our established processes.

Responsibilities include building strong relationships with customers, interpreting regulatory guidelines, and delivering precise damage estimates for high-complexity cases.

Qualifications

• Investigating and confirming facts of loss for complex homeowners claims.
• Determine coverage, damages, and adjust/ negotiate claims within authority.
• Create comprehensive damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner claims.

Responsibilities

• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents activities in complex files.
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types and assists leadership in training.
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on complex 1st party homeowner losses.
