Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Field Property Adjuster in Houston, TX to investigate and evaluate homeowners claims from start to finish.

You will manage the entire claim lifecycle, including supplements, ALE, contents and settlements, while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have Xactimate proficiency, strong claims handling experience, and a valid adjuster license or reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Xactimate and strong foundation in homeowners claims handling (including supplements, ALE, contents, and full claim ownership).
• Active adjuster license or license that qualifies for reciprocity preferred.
• Experience handling claims in both field and desk settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirms facts of loss, determines coverage, assesses damages and negotiates settlements.
• Manages supplements, ALE, contents and the full claim lifecycle; documents activities.
• Communicates clearly with customers, contractors and partners to ensure efficiency.
• Supports leadership with training and process improvements.
