Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Eagerness to learn about insurance policies and property damage.
• Outgoing personality that enjoys interacting with people including policyholders.
• Valid driver's license and Bondable. Background check may apply.

Aufgaben

• Conduct virtual and on-site investigations to assess property damage and determine settlements.
• Use claims handling software, company car, and laptop to write estimates.
• Evaluate and report potential subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to authorities.
• Negotiate with policyholders to settle claims, maintain professionalism.
• Travel for Catastrophe deployments, usually 23 days away from home.
• Engage with stakeholders including agents, witnesses, investigators and attorneys.
• Promote safety and comply with company manuals. Perform additional duties as assigned.
