Nationwide in the United States is seeking a National Catastrophe Field Claims Specialist II for Personal Lines. This field role supports NATCAT responses nationwide, handling property claims with urgency and empathy.

You will travel up to 80% to catastrophe zones to inspect sites, determine coverage, write estimates in Xactimate, and guide policyholders through the claims process. Excellent communication and CAT experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of property claims experience or related field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance concepts and claims processes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine coverage and write estimates using Xactimate.
• Own the full lifecycle of claims including reserving and documentation.
• Collaborate with Internal teams (e.g., SIU, Subrogation) as needed.
• Maintain compliance and provide timely updates to customers.
