Job summary

Heller's Gas INC is seeking a Service Technician Assistant to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on propane tanks, supply systems, and appliances in the field. The role involves transporting tanks, troubleshooting, and following instructions from a service technician.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience preferred, and must pass background checks and drug testing. Work is primarily outdoors with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Employment is subject to clear driving record, background checks, and pre-employment/random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of propane tanks and gas-powered appliances.
• Installation and maintenance of gas piping systems including underground and interior piping.
• Diagnosis, maintenance and repair of propane tanks, supply systems and appliances.
• Perform inspections and leak tests of supply systems and equipment.
• Maintain, repair and refurbish company-owned equipment.
