Job summary

Heller's Gas is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform installation, removal, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on propane tanks, supply systems, and appliances in the field. The role requires ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in outdoor work environments across the service area.

The candidate must have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement, familiarity with service devices, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
• Background check and pre-employment drug testing required.
• Valid Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of propane tanks and gas-powered appliances.
• Installation and maintenance of gas piping systems including underground and interior lines.
• Diagnostic, maintenance and repair work for propane tanks and gas systems.
• Perform inspections and leak tests of supply systems and equipment.
• Prepare work orders and documentation per standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
