Job summary

Heller's Gas is seeking a Service Technician to install, remove and maintain propane tanks, gas-powered appliances, and piping systems in the field. The role requires hands-on diagnostic, repair skills and adherence to safety regulations.

Outdoor work predominates with regular lifting and vehicle equipment use. Qualified candidates will hold a High School diploma or GED, have a valid CDL Class B with HazMat, and pass driving records, background checks, and drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
• Have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with HazMat endorsement.
• Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background checks, and pre-employment/random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove propane tanks and gas-powered appliances.
• Install and maintain gas piping systems including underground lines and interior piping.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repair on propane tanks and appliances.
• Conduct inspections and leak tests of supply systems and equipment.
• Maintain, repair and refurbish company-owned equipment.
• Prepare work orders, invoices and related documentation.
