Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a service technician assistant to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of propane tanks, gas systems, and appliances in outdoor field settings. The role requires diagnosing issues, transporting equipment, and following directions from service technicians.

The position is full-time with regular hours, travel up to 5% outside the service area, and safety/drug/background checks as required. Strong communication and mechanical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities for field work and teamwork.
• Mechanical aptitude for installation, diagnostics, and repair of propane systems.
• Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove propane tanks and gas-powered appliances.
• Maintain and repair gas piping systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair propane systems and appliances; perform leak tests.
