Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a service technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair propane tanks, gas appliances, and related piping in the field. You will also transport tanks and perform occasional basic vehicle maintenance.

This full-time, outdoor role requires a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays on rotation. You will document work orders and educate customers on safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Relevant experience preferred in propane/gas service.
• Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove propane tanks and gas appliances.
• Install and maintain gas piping systems, including underground lines.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair propane equipment.
• Perform inspections and leak tests.
• Prepare work orders and invoices.
• Educate customers on safe operation of equipment.
